About Us

Langdale Pre-School was established in 1975 and has served the local community by providing high quality education and care ever since. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing space for young children to play and learn together.

We are registered to care for children aged 3 to 5 years old and children can attend from the term of their 3rd birthday. We offer morning sessions, afternoon sessions and full days. All children receive 15 hours universal funding from the local authority as of the term after their 3rd birthday. We also offer some extended 30 hours funded places.

The pre-school occupies a self-contained unit within the premises of St. Vincent’s Catholic Primary School. Langdale is managed by a voluntary committee of trustees and is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
